Our daughters are growing up in a world full of opportunity—and adventure. Whether it’s study abroad, solo travel, humanitarian work, or missions, chances are they’ll travel without us one day. We know us moms will probably be a sappy mess when that day comes, but the real question is: will they be ready? Will they be prepared to safely navigage the world?
That’s why I’m creating a Netherlands group trip exclusively for moms and their teen daughters. It’s part real-world travel safety workshop, part bonding experience, and part unforgettable European adventure. You’ll come home with more than photos—you’ll both return with confidence, skills, and memories to last a lifetime.
The Vision
Over the course of this trip, we’ll explore three beautiful European cities while building the essential skills your teen will need to navigate the world. From mastering public transit to navigating in a new language, your daughter will get hands-on practice—while you get the joy of watching her grow into a confident, capable traveler.
You’ll also have intentional moments to connect, laugh, and learn together in a supportive group of other moms and daughters who are walking the same life stage.
Trip Highlights
Amsterdam Adventures – Learn public transit together, pedal through like a local on a guided bike tour, and get hands-on in a stroopwafel-making class. Explore canals, vibrant neighborhoods, and a day trip to Zaanse Schans
Chocolate & Culture in Antwerp – Take the train into Belgium while you and your teen practices navigating with guidance. Wander historic streets, indulge in a chocolate-making class, and enjoy plenty of sweet samples along the way.
Confidence in The Hague & Delft – Your teen will take the lead on navigating while you step back and encourage her. Relax with a beach day in The Hague, then take a day trip to Delft to explore the charming birthplace of the famous blue-and-white pottery.
The Final Challenge – On the last day, your daughter will put her skills to the test by navigating your journey back toward Amsterdam—with you right by her side. We’ll celebrate together with a special farewell dinner.
Why the Netherlands?
It’s a safe, easy-to-navigate country that’s perfect for practicing travel skills in a low-risk environment. The cities are walkable, the trains are efficient, it's easy to navigate the language, and the culture is warm and welcoming—making it the ideal classroom for real-world travel experience.
Who Is This Trip For?
