Travel insurance is your trip’s safety net. Flights get delayed, luggage goes missing, kids get sick—life happens, even on vacation. With the right coverage, you’re protected against the costly “what-ifs” so you can focus on enjoying your adventure. Don’t leave your memories to chance—make sure your next trip is covered.
Choosing the best travel insurance comes down to matching coverage with your trip. Think about where you’re going, what activities you’ll be doing, and the level of protection that helps you feel confident—whether that’s trip cancellation, emergency medical, or evacuation coverage. Policies can vary widely, so it’s important to review the details carefully and decide what fits your travel plans. I can provide quotes from trusted companies so you can compare options and make the choice that’s right for you.

Medical Coverage
Many US based health insurance plans won't cover you abroad and often they deny the claims because the coding is so different. Travel Insurance policies offer medical coverage abroad, which can save thousands of dollars in case of a medical emergency. Plans may also cover for emergency medical evacuation, translation services, finding a doctor in the area you're visiting, etc. Allianz even has certain plans that will fly a friend or loved one to your bedside if you will be hospitalized for more than 48 hours. That's great peace of mind for study abroad parents!
Optional Add-Ons
Travel Insured has plans that offer optional add-on benefits such as a Cruise Bundle, Flight Bundle, Extreme Sports Bundle, Amusement Park Bundle, etc. I love this option because it adds extra coverage to your already existing plan benefits. It makes Travel Insured plans even more robust than they already are! So if you're heading for a cruise, like to do adventure activities, or just want extra coverage benefits, contact me and I'll help you with a personalized quote. Everybody's travel situation is different so let's find you the plan that works for you.
Amazing Features
Each travel insurance plan is different, that's why it's important to understand what plan you're getting and make sure it best fits your individual needs. If you're wanting emergency evacuation for natural disasters, or if you have a study abroad program you want coverage for, those benefits come from different companies. That's why working with me directly can better help you find the right plan. Feel free to reach out and I can help you with a custom quote for your needs.

Do I need travel insurance if my credit card has coverage?
Credit card benefits are limited and often exclude emergency medical care or evacuation. A standalone policy fills those gaps for complete protection. If you rely solely on your credit card for travel insurance make sure you download the full policy documents and understand them in order to assess if this is adequate coverage for your needs. Most credit cards do not offer medical (or very low amounts) of coverage in case of a medical emergency, so I always recommend a more robust separate travel insurnace policy for international trips.
When should I buy travel insurance?
Purchase soon after your first trip payment to unlock early-purchase perks like cancel-for-any-reason upgrades or pre-existing condition waivers.
Can I get coverage for trips booked with points or miles?
Yes! You can enter a $0 trip cost to receive medical and travel delay coverage—perfect for points travelers who don’t need cancellation coverage. You won't get trip cancellation or interruption, so make sure you're booking with a card that has a sufficient amount of these benefits. And know the rules on if you need to pay for all or just part of your trip with that card for
What does travel insurance usually cover?
Comprehensive plans may include trip interruption, travel delays, lost luggage, emergency medical, and medical evacuation, and even emergency evacuation in the case of natural disaster or political unrest. Not all travel insurance companies and policies are created equal which is why it's important you understand exactly what you're getting with your policy.
