How long do I have to decide? Registration will close 90 days before departure, but spots are limited and this trip is expected to fill up quickly! There are only 8 spots available, so if you’re considering joining, I highly recommend reserving your spot as soon as possible to secure your place on this unforgettable adventure.
Where Do I Need to Arrive in Switzerland? The group trip begins at 2:00 PM on September 19th, so you’ll need to arrive at Zurich Airport (ZRH) before then. If your flight arrives anytime that day, we will coordinate a meeting point for the group before departing for our first destination. If you plan to arrive a day early, you will need to arrange your own accommodations for that night, as well as transportation to meet the group on the first day. To get to Switzerland, you’ll want to book an international flight to Zurich (ZRH). Zurich is Switzerland’s largest international airport and is well-connected with flights from the U.S. and major cities worldwide. On September 26th, the trip ends in the morning near Zurich Airport, and you can book your departing flight anytime that day.
What Kind of Food Will We Be Eating? Switzerland is known for its delicious and high-quality cuisine, with a mix of hearty Alpine dishes and lighter Mediterranean-inspired meals, depending on the region. Traditional Swiss foods include cheese fondue, rösti (Swiss-style potatoes), fresh breads, and locally sourced meats, but you’ll also find plenty of options including chicken, beef, fish, and vegetarian dishes. Before the trip, I will send out a food preference and allergy survey to ensure we accommodate dietary needs as best as possible. All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are included in your trip cost, so you won’t need to worry about additional food expenses. However, if you like having extra snacks on hand, you’re welcome to bring some from home or purchase them at local markets along the way. We’ll make a few stops for groceries, so you’ll have a chance to stock up on any favorites!
What happens if I need to cancel after the first 30 days? If you need to cancel after the 30 day refund policy, I will do what I can to fill your spot, however it is not guaranteed nor my responsibility to do so. If I am able to fill your spot, you will get your money back, but if I am unable to sell it, unfortunately you will lose your money.
What is NOT included in the trip cost? Your trip fee does not include international flights to and from Zurich, Switzerland. Additionally, the following expenses are not covered: Alcoholic beverages, snacks, and personal incidentals Tips for drivers or any additional service providers (tipping is not customary in Switzerland but appreciated for excellent service) Additional personal expenses or souvenirs Any activities or excursions beyond the planned itinerary Some optional experiences may be available for an additional fee. Details on these will be provided closer to departure. Travel insurance is not included but is HIGHLY recommended in case you need to cancel or if an emergency arises during your trip. Protect your investment by securing a comprehensive travel insurance policy before departure. Your trip fee does cover: ✔ Accommodations in highly-rated Swiss chalets and hotels ✔ Ground transportation within Switzerland (rental cars, trains, boats, and gondolas for planned excursions) ✔ All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) ✔ Hikes and excursions as outlined in the itinerary ✔ Entrance fees for all planned activities If you have any questions about what’s included or need recommendations for travel insurance, feel free to reach out!

After that, I offer two different payment plan options to make the trip more manageable: Option 1: Two payments of $1650 (due April 30th and July 30th), plus the $500 deposit. Option 2: Four payments of $875 (due April 30th, May 30th, June 30th, and July 30th), plus the $500 deposit. Automatic email reminders will be sent before each payment is due to help you stay on track. If you prefer to pay in full, please contact me directly to arrange payment. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
Why Is This Trip So Expensive? Switzerland is known for being one of the most breathtaking destinations in the world—and also one of the most expensive. From accommodations to food, transportation, and activities, costs here are significantly higher than in many other countries. On top of that, September is a prime travel season, meaning prices for hotels, meals, and excursions are at their peak. We will be staying in highly-rated Swiss chalets and hotels, which come at a premium but offer comfort, incredible views, and a truly immersive Alpine experience. I’ve also carefully planned this trip to include bucket-list experiences that aren’t cheap—but are absolutely worth it. Whether it’s cruising across turquoise lakes, taking scenic gondola rides, or hiking through jaw-dropping landscapes, every moment is designed to be unforgettable. Another major expense? Food. Switzerland has some of the highest food prices in the world, and I’ve budgeted generously to ensure you enjoy high-quality meals every day without having to stress over additional costs. Most importantly, you’re not just paying for a trip—you’re investing in a seamless, stress-free adventure. I’ve done all the planning, logistics, and organization so you can just show up and enjoy. No hours spent researching, no second-guessing—just an incredible experience, surrounded by an amazing group of women. To make it more accessible, I also offer payment plans so you can break up the cost over several months leading up to the trip. At the end of the day, this is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure—and trust me, it will be worth every penny!
What Do I Need to Pack? Weather in Switzerland can be unpredictable, especially in the mountains. While September typically offers mild temperatures, conditions can change quickly, so it’s essential to pack layers to stay comfortable throughout the trip. Be prepared for chilly mornings, warm afternoons, and possible rain by bringing: A waterproof rain jacket A warm fleece or down jacket for cooler evenings Moisture-wicking base layers Comfortable hiking shoes or boots with good grip Lightweight, breathable clothing for warmer days A hat, gloves, and warm socks for higher elevations A daypack for carrying water, snacks, and layers on hikes I will send out a detailed packing list before the trip to help you prepare. Just know that with the right gear, you'll be ready for every adventure Switzerland throws our way!
Can I Opt Out of Any Activities If I Choose? Yes! While I’ve carefully planned this itinerary to include a perfect balance of adventure and relaxation, you are welcome to opt out of any activity that doesn’t appeal to you. If you’d prefer to skip a hike, gondola ride, or excursion, that’s totally fine! That said, I encourage everyone to embrace the experience and participate as much as possible—you might surprise yourself with what you enjoy! But at the end of the day, this is your trip, and I want you to feel comfortable and enjoy it in a way that works best for you.
What About the Hikes? Switzerland is a hiker’s paradise, and we’ll be taking advantage of some of the most breathtaking trails in the Alps. Most of our hikes are moderate in difficulty, with distances ranging from 2 to 5 miles round trip, though some include elevation gain and uneven terrain. The most challenging hike on our itinerary is the Bachalpsee hike, which offers incredible panoramic views but requires a steady uphill climb. That said, we will be taking our time, stopping for photos, and soaking in the stunning scenery along the way. If you have a decent fitness level and are comfortable walking 5-7 miles in a day, you should have no problem enjoying these hikes. Beyond just physical activity, this trip is also about connecting with yourself in a deeper way. We will have a special workshop focused on embracing challenge and pushing past our comfort zones—because sometimes, doing hard things is exactly what helps us discover how strong, capable, and resilient we truly are. Whether it’s reaching the top of a challenging trail, saying yes to an adventure that feels out of your comfort zone, or simply stepping away from daily life to focus on yourself, this experience is designed to empower and inspire you. For other activities, such as boat cruises, gondola rides, and exploring charming villages, there will be plenty of opportunities to experience Switzerland’s beauty without strenuous effort. And remember, you’re always welcome to opt out of any activity if needed!
